Zingo orange soda

Zingo is a legendary Swedish carbonated soft drink, best known for its vibrant orange flavor. The brand's history dates back to the early 1950s when it was launched by the Apotekarnes brewery under the name 'Ingo-läsk', inspired by the world-famous Swedish heavyweight boxer Ingemar 'Ingo' Johansson. Following a legal dispute regarding the name, the product was rebranded as Zingo in 1962.

Over the decades, the brand became a staple of Swedish pop culture, particularly remembered for its creative advertising and experimental flavors in the 1970s, such as the short-lived chocolate-flavored soda. Today, Zingo is a key brand in the Swedish beverage market and is produced by Carlsberg Sverige at their production facilities in Sweden. While it remains a quintessentially Swedish product in terms of branding and consumer base, it is ultimately owned by the Carlsberg Group, a multinational brewing giant headquartered in Denmark.
