Hubo is a prominent Belgian hardware store chain that has established itself as a leading name in the DIY (Do-It-Yourself) market across the Benelux region. Originally founded in 1969, the brand was initially part of the Dutch Houthandel Utrecht (HUBO). Over the decades, it evolved into an independent franchise organization in Belgium, focusing on home improvement, gardening, and construction materials.

While the brand is deeply rooted in Belgium, its product manufacturing is global. Hubo sources items from various international suppliers, ranging from European hardware manufacturers to Asian production facilities for its private-label tools and garden equipment. Today, Hubo Belgium is a member of the Bricoalliance, an international alliance of independent DIY retailers, and remains under the ownership of Hubo Belgium SA, a domestically controlled entity that continues to expand its retail footprint through both company-owned and franchised locations.
