BuzzBallz was founded in 2009 by Merrilee Kick in Carrollton, Texas. The brand grew from a classroom project into a massive success, known for its distinctive spherical, plastic packaging and high-ABV premixed cocktails. The product line includes wine-based 'Chillers' and spirit-based 'Cocktails,' ranging from 15% to 20% alcohol by volume.

Manufacturing remains primarily centered in its state-of-the-art facility in Carrollton, Texas, which allows the brand to maintain quality control and handle its unique bottling process. In early 2024, the brand reached a major milestone when it was acquired by Sazerac Company, one of the largest private spirits companies in the world, ensuring further global expansion and distribution.
