Jolly Appelsin soft drink

Jolly Appelsin is a classic Danish orange soda and part of the iconic Jolly brand family. Originally launched as Jolly Cola in 1959 by Dansk Coladrik to compete with American soft drinks, the Jolly brand quickly became a national favorite. While the cola variant is most famous, the Appelsin (orange) variety serves as a popular citrus-based extension, known for its nostalgic appeal and bright flavor.

Today, the brand is owned and produced by Bryggeriet Vestfyen, one of Denmark's significant independent breweries based in Assens. The production remains localized in Denmark, ensuring that the beverage maintains its traditional Danish identity and manufacturing standards. In recent years, the ultimate ownership has transitioned to the Finnish group Olvi plc, which acquired Bryggeriet Vestfyen as part of its northern European beverage portfolio.
