Bugatti

Bugatti is an ultra-luxury automotive brand renowned for its performance and engineering excellence. Founded in 1909 by Ettore Bugatti in Molsheim, then part of Germany and now in France, the brand became legendary for its racing successes and artistic designs. After the original company ceased operations in the mid-20th century, the brand was revived in the late 1980s by Romano Artioli, leading to the creation of the EB 110.

In 1998, the Volkswagen Group acquired the rights to the Bugatti name, ushering in the modern era of the Veyron and Chiron. Today, the brand's manufacturing remains centered at its historic home, 'The Atelier' in Molsheim, France, where vehicles are hand-assembled by expert craftsmen.

In a significant shift for the brand's future, Bugatti entered a new ownership structure in 2021 through a joint venture. The brand is now managed under Bugatti Rimac, combining the heritage of Bugatti with the electric propulsion expertise of the Croatian firm Rimac Automobili. This strategic alignment ensures Bugatti's transition into the next generation of high-performance automotive technology.
