Løiten Tur Aquavit is a traditional Norwegian spirit specifically formulated for outdoor enthusiasts, as indicated by its name 'Tur' (meaning trip or hike) and the campfire imagery on the label. It is a cask-matured aquavit known for its distinct hint of natural licorice root, designed to be enjoyed during outdoor social gatherings.

The Løiten brand traces its history back to the establishment of Løiten Brænderi in 1855 in Løten, Norway. Throughout the 19th century, it became one of Norway's most prominent distilleries. Over time, following the consolidation of the Norwegian alcohol industry and the eventual privatization of the state monopoly Arcus, the brand became part of a larger corporate portfolio.

Today, the brand is owned by Anora Group, a leading Nordic distilled spirits brand house. The production remains rooted in Norwegian tradition, utilizing potato-based spirits and a secret blend of herbs and spices that characterizes the classic Norwegian aquavit style.
