Philips is a historic Dutch brand that has transformed significantly over the last decade. For audio and video products, the Philips brand in many regions is operated by TPV Technology, a major electronics manufacturer based in Hong Kong. Manufacturing for these peripheral devices typically takes place in China to leverage large-scale production facilities. While the brand retains its European heritage and research centers in the Netherlands, the hardware manufacturing and global supply chain for consumer accessories are heavily centered in East Asia.
