YouSee is the largest Danish telecommunications and entertainment brand, tracing its origins back to the national telecommunications provider in Denmark. The brand was officially established as a separate entity in 2007, spinning out from the traditional cable television operations of the former state monopoly. It has since grown to become the primary consumer-facing brand for mobile, internet, and TV services in the Danish market.

Currently, YouSee is a core brand under the Nuuday business unit, which was created following the split of the TDC Group. This strategic reorganization separated the infrastructure business (GlobalConnect/TDC NET) from the customer-facing digital services. The ultimate ownership of the brand lies with a consortium led by the Danish pension fund ATP and Macquarie Infrastructure and Real Assets, ensuring that while the brand operates with a modern digital focus, its roots and strategic leadership remain tied to Danish infrastructure and international investment expertise.
