Vivera is a pioneering brand in the plant-based industry, established in the Netherlands. The brand was originally founded as a family-owned business under the name Enkco. In 2021, the Brazilian meat giant JBS S.A. acquired Vivera as part of its strategic expansion into the alternative protein market. Today, Vivera operates as a key brand under JBS's global protein portfolio, benefiting from its parent company's massive distribution network while maintaining its specialized production hub in Europe.
