Alete baby food

Alete is a historic German brand specializing in infant nutrition and baby food. It was originally established by Nestlé in the 1930s as a high-quality nutritional option for mothers and infants, becoming one of the most recognized household names for baby food in Central Europe.

Over the decades, Alete has undergone several shifts in ownership. While it was a cornerstone of Nestlé's baby care portfolio for many years, the brand was later sold to private equity investors (BWK) and subsequently merged into larger food conglomerates. Since 2019, Alete has been part of the DMK Group (Deutsches Milchkontor), Germany's largest dairy cooperative. This ownership allows the brand to leverage extensive dairy expertise and localized German manufacturing facilities, maintaining its legacy as a trusted provider of fruit jars, cereal bars, and specialized baby meals.
