Ownership transitioned through various hands, including a period under Petersville Sleigh and later the Anglo-American company Reckitt & Colman. However, in 1999, the brand returned to Australian family ownership when it was acquired by the Kotses family. As of 2026, it remains the flagship brand of the Bickford's Group, a private conglomerate that continues to expand its portfolio in the beverage and spirits industry.
