Cuétara Bocaditos are iconic sandwich biscuits filled with lemon-flavored cream, deeply rooted in Spanish snacking culture. Originally founded in 1935 by the Gómez Cuétara family in Santander, Spain, the brand established itself as a leader in the biscuit industry during the mid-20th century.
The brand has undergone several ownership changes. It was formerly part of United Biscuits and later SOS Cuétara. Since 2008, Cuétara has been owned by Adam Food, a Spanish food group that emerged from the split of the former Nutrexpa group. Most of its production takes place in Spanish factories, primarily at their historic plant in Reinosa (Cantabria) and Villarejo de Salvanés (Madrid), ensuring its heritage remains tied to its country of origin.
