The brand represents a significant shift toward a customer-centric, human-focused identity in the Dutch market, moving away from the Magenta-brand of its former German parent company.

The service is primarily managed and delivered within the Netherlands, utilizing localized network infrastructure and administrative offices. The ownership transition was initiated when Deutsche Telekom and Tele2 AB sold T-Mobile Netherlands to a consortium of private equity investors. This transition allowed the brand to operate independently under its new name, Odido, focusing on high-speed fiber internet and mobile connectivity for both retail and business sectors.
