Euthymol is a legendary British brand of antiseptic, fluoride-free toothpaste, famous for its distinct bright pink colour and intense medicinal flavour. Originally introduced in 1891, the brand became a staple in British households for over a century, known for its iconic Victorian-style packaging. Its formulation traditionally used a combination of essential oils that provide a unique antiseptic sensation.
While the brand has deep roots in British heritage, it has undergone significant ownership changes. Originally a product of Parke-Davis (a company that became part of Pfizer), the brand was sold to Johnson & Johnson in the mid-2000s. In 2020, Johnson & Johnson sold several of its oral care brands, including Euthymol, to the South Korean consumer goods giant LG H&H (formerly LG Household & Health Care). Today, the brand is managed globally by LG H&H, which has expanded its distribution and introduced new variations, such as the Sensitive version shown in the image, while maintaining the classic visual identity. Manufacturing is now distributed across multiple global locations depending on the specific market and product line.
