This specific version highlights the use of French whole wheat (Blé Complet Français) and is produced without preservatives or artificial colors.

While the brand is deeply rooted in French culinary culture, its ownership has transitioned through several international food conglomerates. After being owned by United Biscuits, the brand was acquired by Ferrero Group in 2016 through its subsidiary CereaS. Today, BN biscuits are still primarily manufactured at their historic factory location in Vertou, France, maintaining their traditional heritage under the umbrella of a global Italian confectionery giant.
