Klädesholmen is a historic Swedish brand deeply rooted in the fishing traditions of the island of Klädesholmen in the Bohuslän archipelago. In early 2017, Klädesholmen Seafood AB was acquired by Grönland Seafood, which later merged its operations into the broader Nordic seafood landscape. Since 2022, the brand has been under the ownership of Insula AS, a major Nordic seafood group. The production remains localized in Sweden, ensuring that the traditional 'Klädesholmen' taste—produced according to recipes specialized in the unique semi-preserved canning method—is preserved for the Scandinavian and international markets.
