The Salora ACP1150 is a compact 4K action camera designed for capturing outdoor sports and activities. The Salora brand has a deep history, originally established in Salo, Finland, in 1928, where it became a major manufacturer of television sets and radios. Throughout the 20th century, it was a cornerstone of Finnish industrial electronics.
Following various corporate restructures, the Salora brand was acquired by the Dutch company Altra Group (now part of Shiro Nederland) in the 2000s. Today, Salora products, ranging from televisions to action cams like the ACP1150, are developed primarily for the European market, specifically the Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxembourg (Benelux). While the brand is Dutch-owned, the manufacturing of its electronic hardware is carried out in China to ensure competitive pricing while maintaining European quality standards.
