Fairy is one of the world's most recognizable dishwashing brands, synonymous with efficiency and long-lasting suds. Originating in the United Kingdom under Thomas Hedley & Co., it was eventually acquired by the American consumer goods giant Procter & Gamble (P&G). Today, it is a global leader in the kitchen cleaning sector, known as Fairy in the UK and most of Europe, and sold under other names like Dawn or Dreft in different markets.
The product displayed is specifically tailored for the Iberian market (Portugal and Spain), as evidenced by the 'Pack Poupança' and 'Dura Mais' labeling. While P&G maintains a massive global manufacturing network, much of the Fairy production for the European market occurs at its London (West Thurrock) plant and other facilities across the EU. The brand is managed globally by Procter & Gamble, a multinational corporation headquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio, which oversees its distribution, marketing, and sustainable packaging initiatives.
