Over the decades, the ownership of E45 has transitioned through major pharmaceutical and consumer goods conglomerates. For many years, it was a flagship brand under Reckitt (formerly Reckitt Benckiser). In 2022, Reckitt completed the sale of the E45 brand to Karo Healthcare, a Swedish-based healthcare company. Today, while Karo Healthcare owns and manages the brand's global strategy, production is handled through a network of contract manufacturers across Europe and other regions to maintain its high dermatological standards.
