The APC Line-R 1200 is an automatic voltage regulator designed to protect sensitive electronic equipment from brownouts and overvoltages. APC, originally known as American Power Conversion Corporation, was founded in Massachusetts, USA, in 1981 by three MIT electronic power engineers.
In 2007, APC was acquired by the French multinational Schneider Electric, which merged it with its MGE UPS Systems unit to form the APC by Schneider Electric brand. Today, manufacturing for APC products is distributed across various global locations, including facilities in China, the Philippines, India, and Brazil, to serve regional markets efficiently. The brand remains a global leader in power protection and management solutions for both home and industrial applications.
