Spring is a high-end cookware brand with a rich heritage originating from Switzerland. Founded in 1946 by the brothers Arthur and Hermann Spring, the company became iconic for its contribution to culinary history through the invention of the fondue rechaud and the development of multi-layer material (ply material) for professional kitchens. Their pans are renowned among professional chefs and home enthusiasts for their exceptional heat distribution and durability.

While the brand maintains its Swiss engineering roots and high-quality standards, its ownership has transitioned over time. Today, Spring is owned by the German company Alligator Ventilfabrik GmbH, having previously been part of the Swiss-based Culinor. Manufacturing traditionally took place in Switzerland, but in recent years, certain product lines are produced in specialized facilities in China, while high-end series continue to leverage Swiss design and quality control.
