Starbucks Espresso Roast by Nespresso

This Starbucks coffee product is part of a strategic alliance between Starbucks and Nestlé. While the Starbucks brand originated in Seattle, USA, in 1971, the consumer packaged goods (CPG) production for Nespresso-compatible capsules is primarily handled by Nestlé.

Following a 'Global Coffee Alliance' agreement signed in 2018, Nestlé obtained the perpetual rights to market Starbucks consumer and foodservice products globally, outside of Starbucks coffee houses. Consequently, these specific capsules are manufactured in Switzerland at Nestlé's dedicated Nespresso production facilities, utilizing Starbucks' signature roast profiles and high-quality beans sourced internationally.
