Prim Pilot Chronograph watch

Prim is a historic Czech brand of timepieces with a heritage dating back to 1949 in Nové Město nad Metují. The brand represents a significant piece of Czechoslovak industrial history, having been the sole manufacturer of watch movements in the former Eastern Bloc outside of the USSR.

Due to the privatization processes after 1989, the brand is currently used by two separate entities: ELTON hodinářská, which produces high-end, bespoke watches with in-house movements, and MPM-Quality, which focuses on various commercial collections often using imported movements while maintaining the classic design aesthetic. This specific Pilot model is part of the contemporary collection that blends tradition with modern reliability. The brand remains a symbol of Czech craftsmanship and national pride in the horology sector.
