Wise Cheez Doodles

Wise Cheez Doodles were originally created in the United States and have since become a staple of American snack culture. The brand was pioneered by Wise Foods, a company founded by Earl Wise in Berwick, Pennsylvania, in 1921. While the Cheez Doodles line specifically gained popularity in the 1950s and 60s, it remains a major competitor in the extruded corn snack market.

Following a series of acquisitions, the brand entered international ownership. Today, Wise Foods is a subsidiary of Arca Continental, a major Mexican multinational company. Arca Continental is one of the largest Coca-Cola bottlers in the world and expanded its snack portfolio significantly by acquiring Wise in 2012. Production primarily remains in the US to serve its core North American market.
