JMLM (JSON Machine Learning Model) is a technical specification designed to facilitate the deployment of machine learning models across diverse software environments. By utilizing the JSON data interchange format, it allows models developed in one programming language, such as Python, to be seamlessly imported and executed in other platforms like Dart or Flutter. This standardizes the way model inputs, outputs, and parameters—such as linear regression coefficients or K-means clusters—are structured.
The project originated as an open-source initiative hosted on GitHub, aimed at solving the interoperability challenges inherent in the machine learning lifecycle. Because it is an open-source specification, it does not have a traditional physical manufacturing location; instead, its 'production' occurs through global digital collaboration and implementation by developers worldwide.
