This image features a selection of popular breakfast products sold in Scandinavia: Rugfras and Havrefras, alongside Paulúns Super Granola.
The 'Fras' brand (Rugfras and Havrefras) has deep roots in Scandinavian breakfast culture. Originally developed by Quaker Oats in Denmark in the 1960s, these pillow-shaped whole-grain cereals became a household staple. Today, the brand is owned by Orkla, a leading Norwegian consumer goods company that acquired the Fras brand rights for the Nordic market from PepsiCo in 2014.
Paulúns was founded in Sweden by nutritionist Fredrik Paulún. The brand focuses on health-conscious foods without added sugar and was acquired by Orkla in 2010. While the brands are Scandinavian in origin, manufacturing often takes place across various Orkla facilities in Sweden and Denmark to serve the regional market.
