The brand has undergone several ownership changes since its inception. Originally founded by James Averdieck, it was sold to Noble Foods in 2010. In 2021, the brand was acquired by Exponent Private Equity, an investment firm that continues to manage the brand's growth and international distribution. While the company has expanded its presence across Europe and North America, the primary manufacturing facility remains in Bishops Stortford, United Kingdom, where the majority of their glass-packaged desserts are produced.
