High Mountain Tea, also known as Gaoshan tea, refers to oolong teas grown in the mountainous regions of central Taiwan at altitudes exceeding 1,000 meters. The brand is deeply rooted in Taiwanese tea culture, where specific peaks like Alishan, Shanlinxi, and Lishan are synonymous with high-quality artisanal production.

Because 'High Mountain' is often used as a descriptive classification rather than a single trademarked brand, these products are typically produced by specialized local tea estates or cooperatives. Ownership typically remains with domestic Taiwanese tea manufacturers who manage the harvesting, traditional withering, and rolling processes that define the tea's unique floral and creamy flavor profile.
