ION is a premium boardsports brand that launched in 2004, initially focusing on wetsuits and neoprene products for the international windsurfing, kitesurfing, and surfing communities. Known for its high-performance gear, the brand combines technical innovation with a unique design aesthetic, later expanding into bike gear and lifestyle apparel.

Starting as a specialized division within the Boards & More Group, ION has established itself as a leader in sustainable manufacturing by incorporating eco-friendly materials like oyster shell powder and limestone-based neoprene. While the designs and engineering take place in Europe, production is primarily outsourced to specialized offshore facilities in Asia, such as the Sheico Group, to ensure technical precision and durability.
