Horalky Peanut Wafer

Horalky is an iconic Slovak peanut wafer bar that has been a household name in Central Europe for decades. The snack consists of five layers of wafers filled with a cream of roasted peanuts and edged with a thin layer of cocoa coating. It is renowned for its consistent recipe and traditional rectangular shape, often associated with hiking and outdoor activities in its home region.

The product is manufactured by Sedita, a brand under the I.D.C. Holding, a.s. umbrella, which is the largest Slovak producer of confectionery and pastry products. In late 2024 and heading into 2026, the brand saw a significant shift in corporate ownership as I.D.C. Holding was acquired by the Irish-headquartered global food giant Kerry Group, marking a new chapter for the distribution and scale of these traditional Slovak snacks.
