Wrexham Pilsener is a premium lager produced by the Wrexham Lager Beer Company. Originally established in 1882 by German immigrants Ivan Levinstein and Otto Isler, the brand became legendary for being the only lager served on the Titanic and for its popularity among British troops during the world wars.
After closing in 2000, the brand was successfully revived in 2011 by local businessmen and the Roberts family, bringing brewing back to its roots in Wrexham, Wales. Today, the manufacturing remains centered in the United Kingdom, maintaining the traditional brewing methods that historical fans came to love. In recent years, the brand has gained global recognition through its association with Wrexham AFC and a major acquisition by F.X. Matt Brewing Co., which aims to expand the Welsh icon's presence in international markets while keeping its heritage intact.
