Landliebe is one of Germany's most recognized food brands, specializing in fruit preserves, dairy, and desserts. The brand was originally established in 1980 by Südmilch AG, with a marketing philosophy centered on rural tradition and natural quality.
The blueberry jam (Heidelbeeren Konfitüre) shown is part of an extensive portfolio that has undergone significant ownership changes over the decades. Originally belonging to the Dutch cooperative FrieslandCampina, the German fruit-preparation and dairy business under the Landliebe name was acquired by the Müller Group (Unternehmensgruppe Theo Müller) in 2023.
Today, Landliebe products are primarily manufactured throughout Germany, leveraging local distribution networks. The brand remains synonymous with premium German food staples, though its ultimate corporate ownership is now held by the Müller Group, a massive multinational private dairy corporation headquartered in Luxembourg for tax and corporate purposes, while maintaining its primary base in Aretsried, Germany.
