Queen Victoria is a prominent brand specialized in delivering field-fresh produce across North America. The brand is particularly well-known for its line of packaged salads, leafy greens, and specialty vegetables. In Canada, Queen Victoria products are frequently found in major grocery chains like Loblaws, Provigo, and Real Canadian Superstore, serving as a staple for fresh, pre-washed greens.
Originally founded by the Iamurri family, the brand grew from a small vegetable wholesaler into a large-scale agricultural operation. Today, it is part of the Vegpro International portfolio. Vegpro is the largest producer of fresh vegetables in Canada and maintains a vertical integration strategy that includes high-quality farming operations, packing facilities, and an extensive logistics network.
While highly associated with Canadian agriculture, manufacturing and sourcing occur in multiple locations. During the Canadian growing season, the spinach is primarily harvested and packed in Quebec. However, to maintain year-round supply for North American consumers during the winter months, production shifts to farming regions in the United States, such as Florida or California. This allows the brand to ensure consistent quality and availability regardless of the season.
