Blend-a-med Kräuter Clean toothpaste

Blend-a-med is a historic dental care brand with deep roots in Germany. It was first developed in 1951 by the Blendax-Werke company in Mainz as the first medicinal toothpaste in the country. The brand quickly became a household name in Central and Eastern Europe, known for its focus on clinical dental hygiene and cavity protection.

In 1987, the brand was acquired by Procter & Gamble (P&G), a global consumer goods giant headquartered in the United States. Today, Blend-a-med operates under the same technical formulations as P&G’s other major oral care brand, Crest, but maintains its original name in specific European markets. While it originated as a German laboratory innovation, it is now part of one of the world's largest consumer health portfolios, produced in advanced manufacturing facilities across Europe to serve a wide international market.
