Johma is the most well-known brand of chilled salads in the Netherlands, famous for its roots in Twente. Founded in Losser in 1968, the brand has grown into a household name, synonymous with toast salads and deli spreads. The production remains centered in Losser, Overijssel, where the facility prepares a wide variety of egg, meat, and vegetable-based salads for the Dutch and Belgian retail markets.

Historically, Johma was founded by Johan and Maartje Schreur. Over the decades, it passed through several hands, including Heinz, before becoming part of Signature Foods. Today, Signature Foods—which also manages brands like Heks'nkaas—oversees its operations. The brand emphasizes local pride with its slogan "Oet Twente," reinforcing its status as a premium, locally manufactured product.
