PortAventura World theme park

PortAventura World is a major entertainment resort located in Salou and Vila-seca, Tarragona, Spain. Originally opened in 1995, it was the first theme park of its kind in Spain and has grown to become the most visited theme park in the country and one of the most popular in Europe.

The resort includes several zones, including PortAventura Park, Ferrari Land, and Caribe Aquatic Park, alongside multiple themed hotels and convention facilities. While the resort was initially developed as a joint venture involving the Tussauds Group, Anheuser-Busch, and La Caixa, its ownership has transitioned over the years. Currently, it is managed and owned by a combination of investment groups following a significant acquisition by Investindustrial and KKR. The park provides a significant portion of its services and operational infrastructure locally in Spain.
