Aveeno is a prominent skincare brand originally founded in the United States in 1945 by brothers Albert and Sidney Musher. The brand is best known for its use of colloidal oatmeal to treat skin conditions, a legacy that continues today with their specialized 'Skin Relief' and 'Daily Moisturising' lines.
Historically, the brand was a part of Johnson & Johnson for many decades. However, following a major corporate restructuring completed in 2023, Aveeno is now owned by Kenvue Inc., the independent consumer health company spun off from Johnson & Johnson. While the brand has American roots, its products are manufactured globally. Information suggests that many of their hand creams and lotions for the European market are produced in France and Italy, while North American supplies are largely manufactured in the United States and Canada.
