Saimaza is a historic Spanish coffee brand founded in 1908 by Joaquín Sáinz de la Maza in Seville. It originally started as a small coffee roasting workshop and grew into one of the most recognizable household names in Spain, particularly known for its 'Tueste Natural' (natural roast) and 'Mezcla' varieties.
While the brand has deep Spanish roots and its primary roasting facilities remain in Spain to serve the local market, its ownership has transitioned through several multinational mergers. Today, Saimaza is owned by JDE Peet's, a global coffee and tea powerhouse. The product is manufactured and distributed within Europe, with major production centering on Spanish facilities to maintain the traditional flavor profile expected by Spanish consumers.
