Trinkgut is a prominent brand within the German beverage sector, primarily known as a leading beverage retailer or 'Getränkefachmarkt'. While it operates a vast chain of retail locations, it also features private-label products under its own branding. The brand was originally established in Moers, Germany, and focused on providing a comprehensive selection of drinks and event rental services.

In 2010, the Trinkgut brand underwent a significant ownership change when it was acquired by EDEKA Rhein-Ruhr. Since then, the brand has been integrated into the massive EDEKA Group network, Germany's largest supermarket corporation. Today, Trinkgut continues to represent a fusion of specialized beverage retail and corporate private-label distribution, with most of its operational focus and manufacturing partnerships centered within the German market.
