Desigual is a world-renowned Spanish fashion brand founded in 1984 by Thomas Meyer in Ibiza. Known for its 'not the same' philosophy, the brand is famous for its vibrant colors, patchwork designs, and bold asymmetrical patterns. Originally starting with a jacket made from scraps of denim jeans, the brand has grown into a global retail powerhouse headquartered in Barcelona.

While the creative heart of the brand remains in Spain, production is diversified globally to balance quality and scale. Manufacturing takes place in several countries, including China, India, Morocco, and Turkey, reflecting a complex international supply chain common in the fashion industry. Desigual has maintained its independence over the years, with the founder Thomas Meyer reclaiming 100% ownership of the company in 2018 after buying back a minority stake from Eurazeo.
