Marabou Pigall chocolate bar

Marabou Pigall is a classic Swedish chocolate bar known for its smooth, truffle-like filling combined with rice crisps, all coated in milk chocolate. The brand Marabou was established in 1916 by the Norwegian chocolatier Johan Throne Holst, who had previously found success with Freia in Norway.

Today, Marabou is one of Sweden's most iconic brands. While it was founded in Sweden, it is now owned by the American multinational conglomerate Mondelez International. While much of Marabou's core chocolate production (such as the classic chocolate bars) still takes place in Upplands Väsby, Sweden, several of their specific countline products, including Pigall, are manufactured in other European facilities, primarily in Lithuania.
