Nescafé Vitalissimo is a specialized soluble coffee product designed with health-conscious consumers in mind, notably including magnesium to help reduce fatigue. The brand Nescafé was originally launched in Switzerland in 1938 by Nestlé after the Brazilian government asked the company to help solve a coffee surplus problem. For the Spanish market, this product is prominently manufactured at the Nestlé factory in Girona, Spain, which is one of the largest and most advanced instant coffee production facilities in the world.
The brand is owned by the Swiss multinational food and drink conglomerate Nestlé S.A. Nestlé remains the ultimate parent company, managing Nescafé as its flagship coffee brand globally. In Spain, the operations are managed through the subsidiary Nestlé España, S.A., which handles both the production and the marketing campaigns, such as the famous 'Sueldo para toda la vida' promotion visible on the packaging.
