Antarctica Tônica is a historic Brazilian beverage brand, widely recognized as the first tonic water to be produced in Brazil, launched in 1914. Historically, the brand was part of the Antarctica Paulista Company, which was a major brewery and soft drink manufacturer founded in São Paulo.
Today, the brand belongs to Ambev (Companhia de Bebidas das Américas), which was formed through the merger of Antarctica and Brahma in 1999. On a global scale, Ambev is a major subsidiary of the Belgian multinational AB InBev. The 'Intense' version shown in the image represents a more modern expansion of the classic line, offering a stronger flavor profile and zero sugar options, distributed predominantly in the Brazilian market and produced in local bottling facilities.
