Croky is a renowned Belgian brand of potato chips, established in 1966 in Mouscron by the Huyghe family. It became a household name across the Benelux region, particularly known for its Mascot (the Croky-parrot). This specific product is a collaboration between Croky and Mexicano, a popular Dutch snack bar brand famous for its spicy ribs.
The brand has undergone several ownership changes over the decades. It was previously owned by United Biscuits but was later acquired by the Mouscron-based family business Roger & Roger in the mid-2000s. Today, it remains a primary competitor to global brands in the Belgian market, maintaining its production facilities in Belgium to serve the local and international markets.
