The brand was established through a partnership between FIFCO (Florida Ice and Farm Company) and Nobel Peace Prize winner Muhammad Yunus' Grameen Creative Lab. Nutrivida operates as a social business, meaning all profits are reinvested into the company's social mission to eradicate undernutrition in Central America and beyond. Manufacturing primarily takes place in its dedicated plant in Costa Rica.
