Ta-Tung is a leading brand in the Spanish market for chilled Asian ready meals. Founded in 1980 by Kav Ly, the brand began as a small business in Barcelona and grew into a major food producer. The manufacturing laboratory and main production facilities are located in Sant Vicenç dels Horts, Barcelona.

In 2017, the brand underwent a significant transition when it was acquired by Gallina Blanca (part of the GBfoods group). This acquisition allowed the brand to expand its distribution and modernize its production while maintaining the original recipes and quality that made it popular in supermarket chains like Mercadona and Carrefour.
