Albert Heijn Houdbare Volle Melk is a private-label long-life full-fat milk offered by the Netherlands' largest supermarket chain. The brand Albert Heijn originated in 1887 in Oostzaan, the Netherlands, starting as a small grocery store that grew into a retail giant.
Today, the brand is owned by Ahold Delhaize, a global retail powerhouse formed in 2016 from the merger of the Dutch Ahold and Belgian Delhaize Group. While many of their dairy products are sourced from Dutch dairy cooperatives like FrieslandCampina, manufacturing for house-brand UHT milk can occur at several certified dairy plants across the Benelux region and Germany to meet demand.
