Ivomec is a world-renowned brand specializing in veterinary parasiticides, primarily used to treat and control internal and external parasites in livestock and companion animals. The brand rose to global prominence following the discovery of ivermectin, a breakthrough compound that earned its discoverers a Nobel Prize.

Originally developed by the American pharmaceutical giant Merck & Co. (known as MSD outside the US), the brand was managed under the Merial joint venture with Sanofi for many years. Today, the Ivomec brand is owned by Boehringer Ingelheim, which acquired Merial in a major strategic asset swap in 2017.
