Stimorol Chewing Gum

Stimorol is a globally recognized brand of chewing gum that has undergone significant shifts in ownership and manufacturing over its long history. Founded in 1915 by Holger Sørensen in Vejle, Denmark, the brand was originally launched in 1956 by the Danish company Dandy. For decades, it was a staple of Scandinavian and Northern European confectionery culture, known for its iconic cooling mint flavors.

In 2002, the Bagger-Sørensen family sold the Dandy and Stimorol business to Cadbury-Schweppes, which was later acquired by Kraft Foods (now Mondelēz International) in 2010. A major turning point occurred in October 2023 when Mondelēz International completed the sale of its developed-market gum business in Europe, the United States, and Canada to the Italian-Dutch confectionery giant Perfetti Van Melle. Today, Perfetti Van Melle operates the brand as part of its global portfolio alongside other famous names like Mentos and Chupa Chups.

While the brand originated in Denmark, modern production is centralized in large-scale facilities to serve the international market. A primary manufacturing site for Stimorol is located in Skarbimierz, Poland, which was part of the strategic acquisition from Mondelēz. The brand continues to focus on sugar-free formulations and refreshing oral care, maintaining its status as a market leader in many European regions.
