Eat Natural was founded in 1997 by Preet Grewal and Praveen Vijh in Epping, Essex. The brand quickly established a strong market presence through its commitment to simple ingredients and transparent packaging, focusing on fruit and nut bars that are handmade in small batches. Their production facility, known as the 'Makery,' remains a core part of their brand identity, emphasizing a non-industrial approach to manufacturing. In 2020, the global Italian confectionery leader Ferrero acquired Eat Natural, signaling a significant shift in its growth strategy. While now under the umbrella of one of the world's largest food companies, Eat Natural continues to operate primarily out of its UK facilities to maintain the quality and character of its snack bars. The acquisition by the Ferrero Group has allowed the brand to expand its distribution network globally, integrating British artisanal snacks into a massive international portfolio.
